Missing Duluth.

Happy Saturday everyone! Or at least it’s Saturday here…anyway, hope you’ve all had a good past week, and a good Thanksgiving! I spent it the way I always do, with my family down at my great aunt and uncles farmhouse.

With my blog, I like to kind of alternate beauty and life-related topics, and since last week I did a little fashion haul, I thought I would share some pictures of a little day-long adventure I went on last month. I was thinking about this day a couple days ago, and I miss it so much. Here are some pictures of my little day-long trip to Duluth, so enjoy :-)

Lake Superior was so beautiful this day. It's weird because this totally looks like a scene you'd find on the East Coast.

The waves were huge, at least compared to what I've seen!

I live for this kind of weather, cloudy and windy and a little chilly. Love love love.

Only a little windy...haha. This was before I chopped my hair!

We went to a state park nearby, and I died a little bit. So beautiful.

I believe this was called Silver Creek because of all the rocks making the water appear silver.
I live for these kind of adventures. We've all got some wanderlust in us, I believe, but I've got enough for the whole country, I swear. Something about exploring the unknown and being outside just puts me in the absolute best mood, a mood I didn't even know was possible. If you've got time, go explore some place new. I promise you will not regret it.

Little Autumn Adventure.

Hi everyone, how are you guys all doing? I’m doing pretty well! School is going pretty well, taking two AP courses (college-level courses) is kind of hard, but I’m getting good grades and still managing to take care of myself. How is school for you guys?

Last weekend, I went down a couple hours south of where I live, and went on a really nice hike. Here are some pictures from that little adventure. :-)

The view was really gorgeous; you can actually see Wisconsin from across the river!

A lot of the trees hadn’t quite changed color yet, but every once in a while, I’d stumble across one. This one in particular was incredible.

I just thought this shot was cool; this was the trail I hiked on. Almost no one else was hiking, so it was really nice and serene.

Some of the leaves were huge compared to my tiny head, haha.

Hope you all have an amazing week, you 100% deserve it. Oh, are you guy excited about the new Zoella beauty stuff? I’m so happy for her, she’s come so far. I really want to try the bubble bath in particular, because especially in the fall, I love a good bath. What would you guys like to see for next week? Leave a comment and let me know :)

xoxo

Autumn 2014 List. ♡

Took this at my grandma's farm last autumn. I'm looking forward to spending weekends there again this year!

Hi everybody! Well, I've finished my first week back at school. I'm really enjoying all my classes so far, and my teachers are great as well. Have you guys started school? How's it going so far?

Last year around this time, I made a list of all the things I wanted to do in autumn, because it is my favorite season EVER.  This past summer wasn't good, to be quite honest, so I'm really hoping to make these cooler months amazing. You guys seemed to like that post pretty well, so I figured I'd do another one! Enjoy. :)

I looooooove wearing combat-type boots in the fall.

Autumn 2014 List.
Here's what I'm looking forward to!

♡Wearing sweaters. ALL THE TIME (sweaters are my favorite, I feel so cozy in them!)

♡Lighting candles (Yankee Candle's Pumpkin Buttercream is my all-time fave)
♡Reading by the fireplace
♡Taking lots of pictures of the leaves changing colors
♡Baking yummy apple desserts (apple crisp sounds amazing right now...)
♡Cloudy/rainy days (perfect days for watching movies and cuddling with my puppy!)
♡Having LOTS of pamper evenings/LUSH baths

The County Fair.

Hellooooo everyone! Hope you guys have had a nice week.

The other day when I was down at my grandma's farm, the county fair was going on in the town nearby. Basically, there was a ton of food and lots of animals and things to do. Since I'll be leaving for our cabin on Friday, I thought I would make this a little mid-week post. Don't worry, I've got some bigger posts I'm working on for later...:-)

Enjoy!!

Dang, this sheep was fashionable.

They had a whole building full of bunnies! This one was super friendly.

Oh my gosh this malt was HUGE, but very tasty :)

I couldn't get enough of these bunnies...
That's all I've got for you guys this week. As always, suggestions for blog posts are welcome. Also, if you have any questions for me, please leave them in the comments, as I am hoping to do a Q&A post as soon as I can!

Love you all lots,
-Emily

Sarah and Britta.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone's weekend was spectacular. To make up for the crappy quality pictures in my last post (LUSH Haul), I thought today I would share with you some pictures of my stunning friends, Britta and Sarah. I used my fancy-shmancy Olympus camera to take these!

I took these pictures for Britta and Sarah because they wanted to practice for their senior photos. These photos weren't edited at all, which I normally would do a bit, but my computer is being stupid today, haha. Anyway, enjoy!

I reeeeeally liked the lighting here, and Britta looks seriously beautiful.

Sarah looked so tan next to this pink wall we found downtown. Ah she's so cute!

Honestly my favorite picture from that day. She looks so incredible and I love her so much.

I swear Sarah could be a model, she's so stunning.

A lil' blurry, but these girls are adorable and I ♡ them.

I hope you all enjoyed today's post! Please let me know in the comments what you'd like to see from me next, I have a few ideas in mind. They are: OOTD, product review, book review, or more pictures from my recent little trip. Anyway, I love you all, and I hope your week is great.

Noelle's Photoshoot.

Hello everybody! Today, I thought I would share with you a few pictures I took and edited of my friend Noelle back in June. Enjoy! ♡

Noelle has been dancing since she was 3 or 4, and she's so dang flexible.
I edited this picture so that the focus was on her, and the rest was sort of blurry. I think it looks kind of cool!
The weather was perfect the day I took these pictures. It looked like it was going to storm.
This one is my favorite. Noelle is just so graceful!

Anyway, hope you all had a nice weekend and have a great week. I just want to quickly thank anybody and everybody who has taken time out of their day to look and my blog and even comment. Your kind words literally mean so much to me! Thank you all. :)

Pictures from Oregon 2013

My brother and I running on the sand dunes on the Oregon Coast. This is probably my favorite picture from the trip.
Last month, I went on a trip with my family to Oregon for a little over a week.. We saw Mount Hood, Crater Lake, and the Oregon coast. We even dipped down into California for a couple hours to see the Redwoods and a small town nearby. All in all, it was a wonderful trip. The scenery was incredible! I thought I would post some of the pictures I took/edited from the trip. I haven't edited any pictures from Crater Lake or Mount Hood yet, but maybe I'll post some later. Enjoy! xoxo
The Redwood Forest. I seriously couldn't believe how incredibly huge the trees were.
In California, there were special decks made for the seals to climb/sleep on. They were sooo cute!
Ocean in Brookings, OR.
Me in Brookings. I loved how it was cool enough to wear leggings and a sweater.
Cape Perpetua. It was soooo super windy this day, but it was beautiful.
